I cannot believe my big boy is now six years old! He is the most amazing big brother, he will be going into first grade this year. He has learned so much in the past year, including how to read! He was first in his kindergarten class to make it through his sight words, he LOVES his tablet and loves to play video games. He took his first out of town trip without mom and dad this summer, went with his Nana and Papa to Legoland to celebrate his birthday. He is funny and smart and silly. Emmit is a natural athlete who in the past year did urban gymnastics, soccer, and t-ball. He is sweet and loves to snuggle with us. His favorite thing to do is wrestle with dad, pick up sister, and he likes his sleep (with his pokey and stanley seahorse). Sometimes his favorite word is "no", and every day he asks us "what's for desert?" I am so lucky that this amazing boy calls me "mamma".
